Sponsor | pixiequix | Nov 4, 2007 4:03pm | I was just stumbling around when I saw this alleged ghost pic.
Yes, it's from Coast to Coast AM. No, there doesn't seem to be any way to verify its legitimacy. And yes, it's probably fake, forged, or photoshopped.
But, there are also a few things that captured my interest...
It's supposed to be in a hospital's ICU unit, and the ghostly fella in the picture is wearing a neck brace. Obviously it's easy enough to slap a neck brace on someone in order to stage fake a ghost pic.
However, his head also looks like it's recently been clipped or shaved, which is a common standard operating procedure with traumatic head and neck injuries. And that just seems like an excessive length to go to for staging a phony picture.
I've usually got a pretty good BS radar, and this picture didn't jump out at me as an obvious forgery, although it could very easily be just that.
Take a look for yourself and then share your thoughts if you like. |

I could have faked that but with whAT i saw there doesn't seem to be a way to verify without doing some closer study [and this laptop hasn't the tools]. i am with magickalmoon though...i could have absolutely taken an old 30's photo and done the same thing.
what makes me believe it *may* be a forgery is that it's showing in the mirror and not the REAL bed. if i were to forge a photo like that, what better way than to make it small like that and reflected in the mrror [which would be more forgiving ofphotoshop mishaps] rather than "on the real bed" which would certainly call upon professional photoshop attention.
I say it's fake and I am 98% certain.
High certainty is compounded with the graininess of he man- LIKE it is precisely a scaned photo that'sbeen photoshoped in. also looks as if the shrinking of the man into tha small space was difficut because he looks so perfectly fitted into the space.
:)
